Porcelain
Porcelain is such a beautiful and versatile material.
Although it is breakable it is one of the hardest materials I have worked with. It is fired twice during the production process, with the second firing at an extremely high temperature, making it incredibly durable. In fact, porcelain is so tough that it's often used to make things like dental crowns and veneers.
Each piece of porclain is crafted by hand, fired, sanded, painted with glaze and fired again. making the glaze glassy and strong.
Some of the jewelery has 22k gold luster on them are even fired a third time to bind the gold to the surface, giving them extra shine.
No two pieces are the same. This is part of the charm of the creations, reflecting the handmade nature of the jewelery.
